For the second consecutive year, in the crowded exhibition halls of the most important and expected equestrian show of the year, Chirone stud farm will be present at pavillion 4 stand A6 to show our broodmares, our foals and our sports horses belonging to prestigious and successful international genetic lines of jumping and dressage. You will have the possibility to collect our broodmares brochure with the list of births expected for 2008, to ask for our DVD, and to preview the demo of a software that we have conceived for the management of breedings and stud farms, lots of suggestions to manage your passion at best.
The 2008 calendar of our stud farm is a small gift conceived to share with you 12 months of happiness, 52 weekends of serenity, 365 days of love, 8.760 hours of luck, 525.600 minutes of success and 31.536.000 seconds to spend together with our horses.

Stakkato (Spartan x Pygmalion x Goldstern) was honoured as the “Stallion of the year” in Hanover “Stallone dell’Anno 2007” in Hannover.
Stakkato is considered the best stallion for jumping in Germany with the incredible index of inheritability of 169 scores in jumping. He was German Champion at the age of five with the score of 9,9 and German Vice – Champion at the age of six. In 2003 he won the German Championship with the horsewoman E. Bitter, 2nd place at the G.P. in Hamburg and in Münich and in the following years he has collected an incredible number of exciting sports successes. His sons are in great demand. His 17 sons are approved stallions, eight of them are listed in the stallions stud-book: Saint Amour, Salito, Samorano, Satisfaction, Scendix, Shadow, Stakkato Gold, Stand Up, Staron (the best jumping horse at the 2001 licensing and winner of the Free Jumping Championship), Stenograf and Stolzemberg (sold to the Verden Koerung for 320.000 marks at the age of two).
Sire of 26 broodmares awarded States Premium for model and gaits, of 45 foals selected for elite auctions, of 10 horses selected for elite auctions devoted to saddle-horses. His sons are successfully competing in important international competitions: Rückenwind with Holger Wulschne, Sambuca with Eva Bitter, Stritzel with Angel Njagolov and Sicerto high value young horse who, ridden by the German horseman

Complimenti e auguri all’amazzone e proprietaria di Atlantic City (foto 1,2,3) per gli eccellenti risultati che sta ottenendo nelle gare di dressage in sella alla “nostra” bellissima grigia. Noi abbiamo sempre avuto molta fiducia in loro e loro non ci stanno deludendo. Auguri per un futuro ricco di enormi soddisfazioni e di successi sportivi.

European Dressage Championiship. A further confirmation of the value of our bloodlines, a further success for Chirone stud farm.
We are working well, our role as breeders is very important for the production of high quality horses. It’s not a coincidence that all the successes achieved in the main European stud books derive from particular bloodlines and it’s not a coincidence that our attention is always directed towards those bloodlines who have repeatedly produced excellent breeders and performers.
Keltec Salinero (Hann.1993 by Salieri x Lungau) and his Dutch horsewoman Anky Van Grunsven, once again, on the occasion of the first Italian edition of the European Dressage Championiship, proved to be an excellent couple: gold medal in the Grand Prix Kür and second place in the Special Grand Prix.
Hunter Douglas Sunrise (Hann. 1994, Singular Joter x Werter), ridden by Imke Schellekens-Bartels in the above-mentioned Championiship, achieved excellent results (bronze medal in the Grand Prix Kür and third place in the Special Grand Prix) showing his excellent qualities.
The successes achieved by these two excellent athletes are something to be proud of for our stud-farm that has invested a lot in these bloodlines.
The fact that four of our fillies represent the best of the Hanover production for genetics, attitude and blood is a clear demonstration of the validity of our breeding project. We are talking of Salinera I , Salinera II, For Olympia and Filira.
Salinera I and Salinera II del Chirone are the full sisters to Keltec Salinero while the second mother of For Olympia del Chirone (Hann. 2004, For Pleasure x Calypso II x Werther) is the mother to Hunter Douglas Sunrise and full sister to Wyoming second mother of Filira del Chirone (Hann. 2004, Fly High x Escudo I x Werter).

Italy is successful in Hanover. Chirone stud farm becomes a superstar in Verden thanks to Enka del Chirone.
Our Enka del Chirone is offering us unique and unforgettable moments. Thanks to this beautiful horse, in fact, on the occasion of the Hanover Championship for young broodmares, we have achieved an extraordinary result. Our four year old mare got an excellent second place in her qualification group and she finished in third place in the final of the Championship devoted to show jumping broodmares. This result is a further confirmation of the high quality of this States Premium broodmare who has entered the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program and she already distinguished herself last February on the occasion of the Free Jumping Championship devoted to Hanoverian 4 year old foals. The result she got this year is much more important if we consider that only the best Hanover young mares took part in the above-mentioned Championship. It couldn’t be better.

Goal achieved: Enka del Chirone obtained the States Premium and qualified for the 2007 Hanover Championship and for the world breeding Championship in the show jumping broodmares group.
Enka del Chirone fulfilled our expectations by achieving the States Premium and the qualification for the world breeding Championship that will take place in Verden the 1st August 2007. When our horses combine good quality and excellent genetic characteristics they always achieve good results and, needless to say, our St.Pr.A. is a high quality mare.

Excellent del Chirone, one of the best 4 year old stallions who is competing in Germany, ridden by the German horseman Hilmar Meyer, is achieving a series of important sport successes. The results achieved by this extraordinary and winning couple are great and constant. Well begun is half done.

Excellent del Chirone already qualified for the 2007 German Championship.
We were expecting this qualification and they didn’t disappoint us. Our beautiful black horse and his German horseman Hilmar Meyer, form an extraordinary and winning couple.
Excellent del Chirone (Embassy x Don Juan x Wienerwald), one of the best 4 year old stallions who is competing in Germany, is already qualified for the 2007 German Championship, championship devoted to the best Hanoverian horses. The qualification to the above-mentioned Championship is achieved with the victories gained in the various stages of the selection.

Travagliato Cavalli XXVIII Edition - Thanks
Chirone stud farm, at the end of the XXVIII Edition of TRAVAGLIATO CAVALLI, wants to thank the numerous visitors, Italian and foreigners, who have visited our stand, to whom, we wish to have provided proper information and materials to know and appreciate at best our products belonging to prestigious and successful genetic lines, the result of a careful selection which at the present time is directed towards the German bloodlines of Hanover, where the great experience together with a breeding policy are the best guarantees.
The comparison with the greatest European stud farms represents, for our stud farm, a strong incitement to improve.
The professionalism, the care and the passion in selecting and breeding a horse is an exalting challenge that we do thinking of our customers and we win when we offer them “the result of our exalting challenge”: an excellent competition partner and, why not, a future champion.

Enka del Chirone wins the mare performance test and enters the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program
After the important result achieved on the 13 February 2007 in Verden in the Free Jumping Championship devoted to Hanoverian 4 year old foals (3rd place out of 61 participants); Enka del Chirone, once more, impressed the judges with her skill and her great ability in jumping by winning the Mare Performance Test. Like her mother, she has entered the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program. With Enka del Chirone the number of the broodmares belonging to Chirone stud-farm who have entered the Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program goes up to six and the number is destined to increase. We remind you that only the broodmares with special characteristics and genetic indices, destined to produce high quality foals with a great talent for show jumping, can enter the above-mentioned program. The best 5% of Hanoverian broodmares. The next goal for Enka del Chirone, who is working in an important studfarm in Germany, is the States Premium and the qualification for the German Championship.

Verden auction in Verden: Contendro continues amazing us.
Three excellent basic gaits, a very good rideability and an extraordinary ability in jumping are the qualities that distinguish this young stallion who is very handsome and correct. The hereditability of his genetic characteristics that he is able to pass on to his offspring is absolutely reliable Like him, his foals have a dark mantle, remarkably beautiful faces and vigorous movements Contendro I has already produced sons who have taken part in several exhibitions winning the first prize and many of them have also participated in Verden auctions where they have obtained the highest prices.
Two of his most qualitative sons, Corinto VMC and Cronos VMC, operate in Valleluva fecundation centre in Italy.

Contessa is awarded States Premium
The qualitative St.Pr. Contessa, full sister to our beautiful Copacabana (Contendro x Accord II x Wenderkreis x Don Juan) did brilliantly at the Mare Performance Test receiving the highest score of two times 10 in jumping, she has also entered, like her mother and her grandmother, the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program.
In 2005 Copacabana was chosen for the “Fohlenchampionat" final, a championship devoted to the best foals in Germany, she belongs to a very prestigious to bloodline. Both her mother St.Pr.St. Adura and her grandmother, St.Pr.St. Wedura States Premium broodmares, have entered the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program falling within the best 5% of the best Hanoverian broodmares rankings.

11° edition of Free Jumping Championship at Verden devoted to Hanoverian 4 year old foals.
The 13 February 2007 the Free Jumping Championship devoted to Hanoverian 4 year old foals took place in Verden, in Germany. It’s an important annual meeting that represents the beginning of an extraordinary sports career for many horses. Only the sons of stallions and of broodmares who have entered the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program, can take part in the above-mentioned Championship that has now arrived at the 11th edition. The foals competed in show jumping tests and were judged according to the attitude, the style and the ease in jumping over obstacles.
In the above-mentioned competition, Chirone studfarm achieved a very important result thanks to the excellent performance of Enka del Chirone, 3rd place out of 61 participants.
Enka del Chirone who impressed the judges with her skill and her great ability in jumping, achieved a total score of 28.5 (behaviour 9.5 – strength 9.5 – type 9.5). (the ranking)
The next goal for Enka del Chirone, who is working in an important studfarm in Germany, is the qualification for the German Championship.
Enka del Chirone, descends from a prestigious damline, the same as Rubesco, horse beaten for Canada at Hanover Elite auctions in April 2002 for the incredible price of115.000 euro and he’s achieving prestigious victories and placing highly in international categories.
Her sire Embassy is the son of the Hanoverian Escudo I (by Espri, States Celle Stallion, universally known as the sire of excellent jumping horses) and her mother has entered the Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program falling within the best 5% of the best Hanoverian broodmares rankings.

Excellent del Chirone in the studfarm of the German horseman Hilmar Meyer.
Our beautiful horse Excellent del Chirone (Embassy x Don Juan x Wienerwald), a mix of charm, style, skill and physical strength, with an extraordinary personality and an excellent rideability, is , from February 2007, in the studfarm of the German horseman Hilmar Meyer, an extraordinary and winning couple who will surely achieve the qualification for Dobrock, Championship devoted to the best Hanoverian horses. The qualification to the above-mentioned Championship is achieved with the victories gained in the various stages of the selection.
His sire Embassy is without doubt one of the best sons of Escudo I, States Celle Stallion, universally known as the sire of excellent jumping horses). At the performance test he achieved an overall index of 124,75 and an index of 134,65 in jumping showing his extraordinary qualities. Very high quality stallion with an excellent personality and extraordinary gaits, he is proving to be a very important breeder, his sons are, in fact, dominating the Foals Inpections. In 2002 his first sons have been put up for the Verden auctions where they obtained large consents and have been sold for considerable prices and in 2003 the best filly and the best foal were two of his offspring.
In October 2004 at the Verden Stallions Licensing, he was represented by five of his sons, proving that the expectations on this young and handsome stallion are entirely legitimate.
His mother Dorina is the daughter of the legendary Don Juan who was honoured as the best Stallion of the Year in 1997. He has produced excellent jumping horses with great athletic ability and courage, sire of approved stallions and States Premium broodmares, he’s also sire of our broodmare Donna Dinara del Chirone who in 2004 In 2004 she did brilliantly at the Mare Performance Test receiving an excellent score in jumping: 10 for technique and 10 for strength. Like her mother, Wiener Lady (Wienerwald x Ecuador xx), Donna Dinara del Chirone has entered the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program falling within the best 5% of the best Hanoverian broodmares rankings.

Two beautiful fillies extremely important and prestigious from a sports and breeding point of view, belonging to very prestigious damlines, have been purchased by the owner of an important international studfarm in Switzerland. We are sure that the new owner will be able to exploit their extraordinary qualities at best

Standford Lady del Chirone; the value of a damline.
One of the sons of Dagama (Drosselklang II x For Pleasure) half brother to Stanford Lady del Chirone (Stakkato x Drosselklang II x For Pleasure) is in the list of the young stallions taking part in the Performance Test in States Celle Studfarm.
Dagama, broodmare entering the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program and mother of our Standford Lady del Chirone, is the daughter to Four Seasons of AL.SA.DA. whose damline descends from the broodmare Simone and from Alexander, son, in his turn, of Abglanz, sire of stallions like Absatz e Archimedes.
