108° edition of horses fair - Thanks
Chirone stud farm, at the end of the most important and expected equestrian show of the year, wants to thank the numerous visitors, Italian and foreigners, who have visited our stand, to whom, we wish to have provided proper information and materials to know and appreciate at best our products belonging to prestigious and successful genetic lines, the result of a careful selection which at the present time is directed towards the German bloodlines of Hanover, where the great experience together with a breeding policy are the best guarantees.
The comparison with the greatest European stud farms represents, for our stud farm, a strong incitement to improve.
The professionalism, the care and the passion in selecting and breeding a horse is an exalting challenge that we do thinking of our customers and we win when we offer them “the result of our exalting challenge”: an excellent competition partner and, why not, a future champion

In the crowded exhibition halls of the most important and expected equestrian show of the year, Chirone stud farm will be present at pavillion 4 stand A6 where it will show broodmares and foals belonging to prestigious and successful genetic lines of jumping and dressage. You will have the possibility to collect our 2007 brochure, to ask for our DVD, informative materials that you will receive updated every year, and to preview the demo of a software that we have conceived for the management of stud farms, lots of suggestions to manage Your passion at best. Week-end of riding at the federal equestrian centre “Pratoni del Vivaro”
Officers and volunteers of the Horse-riding Military Centre are successful in the agonistic meetings of this week-end: the VFP Linda Bratomi with Easterlight (Espri x Lanthan x Trapper) achieves the gold medal in the 1° Grand Prix of the FISE Military Council, devoted to the horsemen of the Armed Forces and of the State Army Corps and wins the Show Jumping Military Championship.
The corporal Alice BARTOLI achieves the silver medal in the Italian Equitation Show Championship; the military team composed of the Volunteers Giovanni UGOLOTTI, Emiliano PORTALE, Roberto RIGANELLI and Sabrina SANNA wins the gold medal in the Italian Equitation Show Championship for sports clubs.
Linda Bratomi and Easterlight (Espri x Lanthan x Trapper) form an extraordinary and winning couple who is having lots of success. Easterlight is the pride and the satisfaction of Chirone stud farm that boasts the presence of two full brothers to Easterlight: Ermes and Everest del Chirone.

At Verden two stallions belonging to Lady del Chirone damline were approved
At Verden it took place the annual meeting of stallions licensing and sale. During this event two stallions have been approved: a son to Rubin-Royal x Glorieux (beaten for 100.000 Euro was purchased by Dough Leatherdale who is already the owner of His Highness, the most acclaimed winner of the 2002 stallions licensing in Verden, sold for stallions licensing at Verden, sold for the incredible price of 515.000 euro when he was two years old) and a son to Bellissimo M x Wendekreis (beaten for 62.000 euro and purchased by Doctor Bade for States Celle stud farm, both belong to Lady del Chirone damline (Landadel x Wienerwald x Gotthard).
From the same damline descend Altanus (by Adlantus As), Lorelei (by Lordanus) and Febo del Chirone (by For Pleasure) who have won the Jumping Foals Inspection in Sudweyehe (Bremen) for three years in a row. Thanks to their temperament and disposition, together with the excellent genetic characteristics which they derive from their mother, these beautiful foals are considered horses of excellent prospects.
During the above-mentioned meeting was also approved one of the sons to Florestan I x Wolkenstein whose damline is referable to our beautiful Filira (by Fly High) and For Olympia del Chirone (by For Pleasure). The three of them, in fact, descend from the family of StPrSt Garde Premium States broodmare, winner of the prize Louis-Wiegels-Schau, the most longed-for reward from a breding point of view.
Among His Highness sons of the first year, three have been approved stallions out of four presented. An excellent result for this wonderful horse, son of Hohenstein x Donnerhall, sire of Hera and of Hold Spice del Chirone.
A confirm of the high value of the maternal bloodlines, a confirm of the high value of the maternal bloodlines belonging to Chirone stud farm.

Verden: stallions licensing and sale
A beautiful son to Lauries Crusador xx X StPrSt Raphaela by Raphael was the winner among dressage stallions and was purchased by Sprehe stud farm.
The winner among jumping stallions descends, instead, from Stakkato x Graf Grannus, sold in Czech Republic.
64 approved stallions of 2004 have been sold for a price of 64.890 euro. Top price is one of the sons to Florestan x Donnerhall beaten for 400.000 euro by Doug Leatherdale, stallion who will operate in Jens Meyer stud farm, the same as His Highness, the most acclaimed winner of the 2002 stallions licensing in Verden, sold for stallions licensing at Verden, sold for the incredible price of 515.000 euro when he was two years old.
Among the 15 stallions who were awarded the States premium, thereis a son to Conteur x Weltmeyer (vice-champion) beaten for 300.000 euro and a jumping stallion, the son to Stakkato x Sherlock Holmes sold for 230.000 euri in France.
The 36 stallion who were not approved achieved the price of 22.069 euro. The most expensive was a son to Acorado x Voltaire beaten at 100.000 euro for Czech Republic.

Lauries Crusador xx “2006 Stallion of the Year” in Hanover
Lauries Crusador xx (Hann. Of 1985 Welsh Pageant xx X High Top xx) was honoured as the best “Stallion of the Year” in 2006 in Hanover. Among his 546 sons who take part in sports competitions, we have to mention these extraordinary horses: Lesotho, Le Bo, Little Big Man, Le Primeur, Heslegards.
Lauries Crusador xx has also been for years at the top of the world dressage sire list with 39 approved stallions, 13 of them are listed in the Hanover stallions stud-book: Lancier, Longchamp, Landstallmsteir, Louis Heslegard, Laurent Premier, Loerke, Londonderry, Laurus Akzentus, Lord Lowenherz, Laurenzio, Laudabilis, Londonbeat, Laurent. Among his 349 daughters registered like broodmares in Hanover, 103 are awarded the States Premium for model and gaits.

Preliminary selection of stallions "trotto scosso"
Elias, Chester and Altanus del Chirone have been presented in Grosseto for the preliminary selection of the licensing stallions.
Elias (Embassy x Graf Grannus), vice-champion at the Jumping Foals Inspection in Hanover. Thanks to his morphology, temperament and his genetic characteristics he will certainly become a future performer in show jumping and a future approved stallion.
Chester (Conteur x Graf Grannus) foal descending from a very prestigious genetic line, excellent as regards model, structure and gaits; his mother Gina (by Graf Grannus x Argentan) has entered the prestigious Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program falling within the best 5% of the best Hanoverian broodmares rankings.
Altanus del Chirone (Adlantus As x Landadel) winner of the Jumping Foals Inspection in Sudweyehe (Bremen); he belongs to a very prestigious damline, that of Lady del Chirone, from which descend international champions like Grundstein I better known as Eurocommerce Rome.
The crossbreed of three stallions so prestigious and reliable is the guarantee of an impressive pedigree that has produced and will produce successful horses in show jumping.

Elektra del chirone sold in South Africa
Elektra del Chirone (Escudo x Graf Grannus) has been purchased by the owner of a very important international stud farm in South africa. It’s an excellent chance for our wonderful black filly and for her new owner who will be able to exploit her extraordinary athletic qualities at best. In our stud farm Elektra gave us great satisfaction and lots of emotions.

Atlantic City sold in Italy
Our beautiful grey dressage mare well-trained and ready to compete was sold in Italy. She placed highly in all the dressage competitions she entered and she also won in young horses classes. We wish her new owners a future of great satisfaction and sports success.

Raphael’s girl won the Mare Performance Test receiving an excellent score in jumping: 10 for technique and 10 for strength.
Daughter of the great founder Raphael belonging to an extremely prestigious damline, the same as the international horses Aerobic Z and Artos. Like her mother and her grandmother she has entered the Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program. The third dam, Akita is the daughter of Agram (1942-1962), true founder of Hanoverian breeding and excellent sire of jumping horses and of Libelle (stamm 6225) an extraordinary international jumper and broodmare with a high genetic value.
With Raphael’s girl the Chirone stud farm broodmares who have entered the Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program are 4, a number that is destined to increase. In the above-mentioned program the broodmares who have special qualifications and genetic indices and are destined to produce foals with a great talent for show jumping, are examined and judged by a severe and demanding board of examiners. The best 5% of Hanoverian broodmares.

Elektra del Chirone wins in Berlin
Elektra del Chirone (Escudo x Graf Grannus), ridden by the German horseman Hilmar Meyer won in Berlin in ML (1.35 m) and in S (1.40 m), achieving his first victories in Grand Prix. She is only 7 years of age but she is already giving us great satisfaction and lots of emotions

Dobrock – Hanover show jumping Championship
Elektra del Chirone passed brilliantly the final test with 0 penalties, 3rd out of 100 competitors.
The annual meeting at Dobrock has taken place also this year, it’s a Championship devoted to the best Hanoverian horses. The qualification to the above-mentioned Championship is achieved with the victories gained in the various stagesof the selection. Elektra del Chirone (Escudo x Graf Grannus) ridden by the German horseman Hilmar Meyer, passed brilliantly the final test with 0 penalties, achieving the third place.
Elektra del Chirone (Hann. Of 1999) descends from Escudo x Graf Grannus, A jumper who will certainly have great success both for her genetic characteristics than for her sports potentialities.

Febo del Chirone winner of the Jumping Foals Inspection in Sudweyehe (Bremen)
Like his brothers Altanus and Lorelei, Febo del Chirone won the Jumping Foals Inspection in Sudweyehe (Bremen). Thanks to his morphology, temperament and disposition, together with excellent genetic characteristics which he derives from his mother, this beautiful foal is considered a horse of excellent prospects.
For the third year in a row, the Jumping Foals Inspection has been won by one of the sons of our precious Lady del Chirone (Landadel x Wienerwald x Gotthard).
In 2004 1st place for Altanus del Chrone male by Adlantus As (Argentinus x Lantaan)
In 2005 1st place for Lorelei del Chirone female by Lordanos (Landos x Ahorn Z)
In 2006 1st place for Febo del Chirone male by For Pleasure (Furioso x Grannus)

Sirena del Chirone 4th place at the Dressage Foals Inspection in Sudweyhe (Bremen).
Sirena del Chirone female by Sir Savoy (Sandro Hit x Lanthan) x StPrSt Daylight del Chirone ( Donnerhall x Rubinstein) in 2006 she achieved the 4th place at the Dressage Foals Inspection in Sudweyhe (Hanover).
She is a beautiful and elegant black filly with elastic movements who combines in herself the prestigious blood of the most important hanoverian dressage stallions who have mostly affected the world breeding and sport.

Excellent del Chirone (Embassy x Don Juan x Wienerwald), has been presented in Arezzo for the preliminary selection for the stallions licensing and he will take part in free jumping competition.

Enka del Chirone makes her début in free jumping competition (Verden)
Enka del Chirone (Embassy x Wanderer x Rondo/T) begins her career in the free jumping competition reserved to three-year-old foals. It’s a very important annual meeting which represents the beginning of an extraordinary sports career for many horses. Foals are examined by good judges who judge their behaviour, their strength and the type. Enka del Chirone who, for her début, has been prepared in a very important stud farm in Germany, descends from a prestigious damline, the same as Rubesco, horse beaten for Canada at Elite auctions for 115.000 euro in 2002 and he’s achieving prestigious victories and placing highly in international categories.
Her sire Embassy is the son of the Hanoverian Escudo I (by Espri, States Celle Stallion, universally known as the sire of excellent jumping horses) and her mother, on of the best Hanoverian broodmares, has entered the Hanoverian Breeding Jumping Program.
Comtessa (Contendro x Accord II x Wenderkreis x Don Juan), full sister to our beautiful Copabanca del Chirone, is a great satisfaction to Chirone stud farm especially for the excellent result obtained in free jumping competition where she achieved the 5th place in the second group that has been presented with a final score of 24,7 (behaviour 8.2 – strength 8.0 – type 8.5)

Free-Jumping competition for Foals (Verden)
The three Contendro’s daughters are the winners of the jumping competition reserved to four years old foals. It took place in Verden the last February 8th 2006. Our foals give guarantee of prime choice performance and have important descendant: they were born from broodmares of the Hanoverian Jumping Breeder’s Program. The best quality of Hanoverian foals.
We had a great success even from the beautiful Copacabana, already selected in 2005 for the final competition of the “ Fohlenchampionat” championship created for the best foals of Germany, belonging to an important family ( Contendro x AccordoII x Wenderkreis x Don Juan). Both her mother St.Pr.St. Adura and her grandmother St.Pr.St. Wedura received a State award, they are both registered in the Hanoverian Jumping Breeder’s Program and belong to the 5% of the best Hanoverian foals.
This important annual appointment has represented and represents for most horses the beginning of a great career. Witness of this important careers are Adlantus As FRH winner in 1997, El Paso winner of Jumping and winner in 2003 of the German Championship and sold to Paul Schockemoele for the incredible amount of 800.000 Euros, and Eclypso D.C. a performer stallion that in 2000 won the second prize in Jumping and that is still having great result ridden by the horseman Filippo Moyersoen.
In 2006 the Chirone’s Breeding expects great satisfaction and great results, our foals are a selection of the best Hanoverian horses. The horses were born after a selection of the best stud mares and international stallions of international fame.
One of them is Altanus del Chirone (Adlantus As FRHx Landadel x Wienerwald x Gotthard), winner in 2004 of the jumping exhibition in Sudweyehe (Bremen), that catches the best stallions. His mother Lady del Chirone (Landadel x Wienerwald x Gotthard) was born after the interweaving of three prestigious stallions and guarantees winning horses. The female line of Lady del Chirone’s family is really prestigious and rich of champions as the horse Grundestein I, better known as Eurocommerce Rome.
We can’t forget Filira del Chirone (Fly High x Escudo I x Werther x Graphit) a beautiful foal that is known for her excellent carriage and an important genetic line. In fact her mother Enjoy is El Paso’s sister (winner in 2003 of the German Championship and sold to Paul Schockemoele for the incredible amount of 800.000 Euros).
In third generation Filira has St.Pr.St. Garde, mare-stud winner in 1997 of the Louis-Wiegelschau award: the most ambitious award that can be won by a broodmare and her family. Garde is not only Frambeau’s mother, bought at the public breeding of Celle, but even Wahre Liebe’s mother, daughter of Werther, international winner, and even Comtesse ’s mother, mother of Gratus DC, Eclypso’s and Wyoming that gave birth to El Paso.
St.Pr.St. Garde is the third generation for For Olympia del Chirone too, another number one of Chirone’s Breeding and For Pleasure’s daughter, the For Pleasure that won four international gold medals and that for “blood” and genetic attitudes is considered one of the best stallion performer in the world.

Hanover the best Stud Book in the world
Again in 2005 Hanoverian horses are at the top of the WBFSH (World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses) list for the 2004-2005 season based on the international results of the six best horses of each Stud Book racing in the three different Olympic disciplines: show jumping, dressage and eventing.
Our horses came first in the table of the dressage, third in the table of jumping and second in eventing!
For the ninth time they’ve won the Best of All Trophy.
The severe selection and the excellent results achieved again this year make the Hanover horses the most requested by professional and not professional horsemen of the whole world!!
A positive confirmation of a success and of a perfect breeding policy but most of all a confirmation for the Chirone’s Breeding.
