A very important bay filly who for genetics, disposition and bloodline represents the best of the Hanoverian production; Salinera is the full sister to Salinero and to Seven Up famous protagonists of the international equestrian scene.
She is the flower of our stud farm.
Genetics
Antonio Salieri, court musician in Vienna, was a composer of church, classical and lyric music and an Italian conductor who played an important part in the history of music.
His sire is Salieri (Hann. 1989 by Salvano x Servus) approved stallion in Hannover in 1992, at the moment he is playing a very important part both in breeding than in sport. On the occasion of the Hanover CSI in 2000 he was honoured of the title of "Sires of the World", as sire of international champions, considered one of the best stallions in the world, he also composes “an extraordinary music” through his sons Salinero and Seven Up, both Salieri x Lungau, famous protagonists of the international equestrian scene.
Salinero (Han. 1993 by Salieri x Lungau) is already one of the world-famous horses. In 2003 and in 2005 he won the Dutch Dressage Championships, in 2004 he led his horsewoman Anky Van Grunsven to the victory at the Athens Olympics and the following year he won the gold medal at the European Championships. In 2006, ridden by the same Dutch champion, he won, for the third time in a row, the final of Dressage World Cup that took place in Amsterdam at the end of April. This excellent couple has proved to be invincible.
His full brother Seven Up (Han. 1994 by Salieri x Lungau), one year younger, follows successfully his famous brother. In fact, he also took part in Athens Olympics in 2004 with the Korean show jumping team.
Salieri, ridden by Holger Wulschner took successfully part in show - jumping competitions in internationl fields and reinforced his versatile inheritability thanks to his full brothers who are doing brilliantly in the international equestrian scene; an extraordinary guarantee of success.
Her mother StPrSt Luna is the daughter of Lungau, stallion belonging to the state stud farm “Landgestüt Celle", well-known for his ability in dressage and considered a high quality sire for the versatility of his offspring. It’s not a coincidence that champions like Salinero, Seven Up, Barclay (by Brentano) and Brentina (by Brentano) were all born bydaughte Lungau dams.
Her second mother Pikora is the daughter of the well-known Pik Bube I who, in the competitions season (1983) achieved three victories and numerous placements. Like him, his offspring has been always very much in demand since his sons are really high quality horses. Sire of great champions and 27 approved stallions who are very much in demand in Germany. Pik Bube I has also sired a great number of horses with a very high breeding and sports value:his daughters are very much in demand for having produced horses like: Don Primero, Donatelli, Dream of Glory. Pik Dame, his daughter, is the mother of Ramiro’s Boy, Piroschka, mother of the stallion Davignon and Petit Cardinale mother of Checkmate, main horse of Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum.
Performance
Keltec Salinero (Hann. 1993 by Salieri x Lungau) and his Dutch horsewoman Anky Van Grunsven, in 2007 on the occasion of the Dutch Dressage Championship, returned to achieve great successes obtaining excellent results in three competitions and winning the 13th national title. This excellent couple is proving to be invincible and it has much more value if we consider that van Grunsvenn has just returned to ride and that she achieved the victory with 15 percentage points more than the 2° classified Imke Schellekens Bartels riding Sunrise (Han. 1994, Singular Joter x Werter). In September 2007, during the first Italian edition of the European Dressage Championiship, they proved to be an extraordinary couple achieving the gold medal Grand Prix Kür and the second place in Special Grand Prix. The successes achieved by this excellent couple are something to be proud of for our stud farm that has invested a lot in this bloodline.
