Genetics
He is male, beautiful, morphologically correct and full of energy, he will be probably be approved as stallion. He is the son of our extraordinary Barbie Girl and of Montender.
Montender is a dark bay stallion with extraordinary sports abilities. He is always ready for competitions and he has a wonderful personality which permits him to cooperate very well with his rider.
Montender is the direct son of the founder Contender and of a mare daughter of Burggraaf. His mother Jesprit is also the mother of Ami Esprit (For Pleasure) Bon Esprit (Cornet Obolensky) Nieuw Amsterdam (Amsterdam) Ulme (Contender) Zephyrus (Quick Star), she has been a very good international jumper in distances of 1.35 m. His grandmother, Esprit, is the the daughter of Le Mexico. Esprit has received several prestigious titles in Holland. Montender descends from the important Dutch damline 032, he won the 4 – Year – Old Dutch Championship in Geesteren (NL). He was the most successful sports horse in his age group in Holland in 1998. When he was 5/6 years old, Montender won many show jumping competitions and achieved his first excellent results in international competitions. At the age of 8, he continued to amaze us by competing in Hamburg Derby and in Aquisgrana Grand Prix. At the age of 9, he became German Champion in Gera with Marco Kutscher, he contributed to achieve the gold medal for the German team by winning two clear rounds and in the individual competition he got the bronze medal with Marco Kutscher. The press considered him the best horse at Athens Olympic games in 2004. Montender is also in the 5th position in the world ranking and in 2004 was named horse of the year for the KWPN. In 2005 Montender won the silver medal with Marco Kutscher in the German Championiship in Verden. And on the 24th of July 2005, ridden by Marco Kutscher, he became Champion of Europe!!!
Montender’s descendants promise to be successful horses. In 2005 they did brilliantly at the Performance Test, Monte Bellini and Montendro got the highest marks in all the items. At the Westfalenkörung, two of his sons have already become stallions. Sontender is approved stallion and one of his daughters, Mya Mercedes, got very high marks in free jumping, achieving, in this way, the prize from German country. This mare is being trained by an international horsewoman. Experts consider that his genetic value is very high.
His mother is Barbie Girl del Chirone, the daughter of Baloubet du Rouet one of the greatest performers at the moment, ridden by Nelson and Rodrigo Pessoa; in 1996 he won the seven year old championship in France, he was the winner of the World Cup for three years in a row (1998, 1999 and in 2000), 2nd place in 2001, 3rd place in 2002, he was Olympic Champion in Athens in 2004. In 2005 and in 2006 he achieved multiple victories and placed highly in the most prestigious Grand Prix of the world. Baloubet du Rouet has a genetic index of 168 sons licensed as stallions and excellent performers in Csio: Balou Mena G, Balougran Z, Gatsby Vandrin, Krack du Rouet, Balu de Rouet and West Side. He is also the sire of the famous Gitane du Brumans II, Gatsbyvandrin top price at Nash, in Ireland at the age of five, 210.700 Euro and Waldman who was sold at six months of age for 17.000 Euro at Mechelen in 2004. The sire Galoubet A is one of the greatest French stallions, Champion of the world in 1982, son, in his turn, of the great Almè, the most important breeder of all times. Almè is the only one to have quite two sons champions of the world in show jumping: I Love You and Galoubet A and three other sons have taken part in the Olympic games: Joyau D'Or, Jalisco B, Zalmè Z. He is also the sire of Qualtubet du Rouet, Caloubet, Skippy II, Qualoubet III, Quick du Garon, Qredo de Paulstra, Egalou Mail, Quick Star, etc. He himself was a great performer, winner or placed highly in the most important international Grand Prix. Among his most prestigious victories we remember: in 1977 the five year old championship, in 1979 the absolute championship in France, in 1992 the team championship of the world. The dam Mesange Du Rouet is the daughter to the famous Starter, great performer and important breeder, sire of many international horses, brother to the great Cor De La Bryere. Mesange Du Rouet besides Baloubet has also produced Unadore Du Rouet.
The mother Samsara, daughter to Spartan, is the full sister to the extraordinary Stakkato who has been for years at the top of the German rankings for genetic index and reliability, extraordinary stallion performer who, ridden by Eva Maria Bitter, impresses everyone with his excellent style and is considered one of the best of Hanoverian breeding; the best stallion for jumping in Germany, he is very much in demand in the world. He was German Champion at the age of five with the score of 9,9 and German Vice – Champion at the age of six. In 2003 he won the German Championship with the horsewoman E. Bitter, 2nd place at the G.P. in Hamburg and in Münich. His sons are in great demand and like their sire they have an innate talent for jumping. Sire of 14 approved stallions, 8 of them registered in Hengstbuch: Shadow, Saint Amour, Staron (the best jumping horse at the licensing in 2001 and winner of the Free Jumping Championship with the richest jackpot in Germany) Stolzemberg (sold to the Koerung in Verden for 320.000 marks at the age of two), Satisfaction, Stakkato Gold, Stand Up, Salito. He is also the sire of excellent mothers; some of his daughters, many of them awarded states premium for model and gaits, are producing excellent horses.
The second dam Pia, daughter to Pygmalion, belongs to one of the anciest and proven damlines of the Hanover stud book.
