Foal of beautiful model, the result of one of the best crossbreeds of Hannover breeding: Espri x Lanthan x Trapper.
Genetics
His sire, Espri, States Celle Stallion, universally known as the sire of excellent jumping horses, is one of the best sires in Germany, honoured as the best stallion of the year in 1995 in Hannover. His offspring has won € 1.670.615 in competition. Among his sons stand out: E.T. (€ 979.644 won. Extraordinary horse, winner of the Hamburg Derby at the age of seven; he also won the World Cup several times and was 4th at the Olympic Games of Atlanta), the stallions Escudo I and II, Edgar (€ 24.505 won. Champion of the World in 1993 at the age of seven), Esprit De Valdemar (extraordinary dressage horse who participated in the Olympic Games in 2000), Elwood (€ 77.221 won), Explosiv (€ 95.260 won) and Elvis winner of the longed-for Burgpokal in 2005 ridden by Nadine Cappelmann. Espri is also sire of 20 registered stallions approved as reproduction horses (6 stallions registered in Hannover) and of 342 broodmares (61 broodmares rewarded from the State).
His dam is the daughter of Lanthan (Lombard×Sudan××), high quality horse, sire of excellent dressage and jumping horses. In his career as breeder, Lanthan sired 707 horses who have won € 490.081 in competition, 24 approved stallions (9 stallions approved in Hannover), 377 registered broodmares and 66 broodmares (68 broodmares rewarded from the State).
Among his offspring who won and did really well in dressage stand out: Lapis Lazuli, La Boom, Life Von Weyhe, Lemmi’s Lanio and Birkhof’s Lanthano. 9 of his 15 approved stallions are listed in the stallions stud-book : Legat, Lago Navaro, Limbo, Latent, Lanio, Love Dream, Lateiner, Lanthano and Landjäger.
His descendants are very beautiful horses with athletic ability and elastic movements. In 1999, among the stallions of his group, Lanthan was the stallion with the highest procreation value.
His second dam Thaila is the daughter of Trapper, a very important stallion of hannoveraner breeding.
