Embassy - Graf Grannus - Akzent I - Askan. A successful bloodline in show jumping.

Genetics

His sire Embassy is the son of the Hanoverian Escudo I (from Espri, States Celle Stallion, universally known as the sire of excellent jumping horses), in 1994 winner of the 100-Day-Test at Adelheidsorf with fantastic scores in all the categories, 2nd place at the the five-years-old German Championship in Warendorf and winner in class S (mt. 1,50) with Joachim Winter. Embassy is without doubt one of his best sons. At the performance test he achieved an overall index of 124,75 scoring 134,65 points in the jumping category showing his extraordinary qualities. Very high quality stallion with an excellent personality and extraordinary gaits, he is proving to be a very important breeder, his sons are, in fact, dominating the Foals Inpections. In 2002 his first sons have been put up for the Verden auctions where they obtained large consents and have been sold for considerable prices and in 2003 the best filly and the best foal were two of his offspring. In October 2004 at the Verden Stallions Licensing, he was represented by five of his sons, proving that the expectations on this young and handsome stallion are entirely legitimate.

His dam, Gloria is the daughter of Graf Grannus, son of the legendary Grannus (1972-1993), excellent breeder who left a lasting mark both in show jumping and in breeding producing numerous winners in CSIO. He operated in the German regions of Oldemburg and Hannover. His offspring has achieved successes all over the world: Grannush, Gaston M, Grand Slam, Governor, Grand Plasir. Grannus himself won in show jumping categories (mt.1,50) ridden by Guido and Ulrich Klatte. At the Performance Test at Adelheidsorf, Graff Granus scored 138,04 points in the jumping category and 121,24 points in the dressage category. In 1999 he was honoured as best stallion of his age-group for the amounts won by his sons in show jumping. Among his sons stand out Golden Champ, Ginsberg, Glen Fiddich (winner in CSI with Ludger Beerbaum) and Graf Noir. Graf Noir began his sport career in Germany at the age of 5, he came up to all the expectations winning and placing highly in cat. A (1,10 m.) cat. L (1,20) cat. M (1,30/1,35m.) and qualifying for the Hanoverian Championship Finals vith the score of 8,7. Graf Grannus’s mother, Goldmaedel, won in category S (mt.1,50) in show jumping ridden by Haude Luther. Goldmaedel is the daughter of Goldloewe, one of the last sons of the legendary Gothard, and of one of the daughters of the all the time best thoroughbred from Hannover Derr Lowe breeding.

His second dam StPrSt. Alaska, States Premium broodmare is the daughter of Akzent I representative of Abglanz line. Akzent I sired 395 horses who distinguished themselves in sport competitions achieving excellent results both in dressage and in show jumping, more than 35 States Premium broodmares and numerous approved stallions such as Adroit, Amoroso Assai, Akzentus, Ariston and Alpius. In 1976, Akzent I won the Performance Test at Adelheidsorf and received the Freiherr von Stenglin prize in Verden in 1977.
