Foal descending from a very important genetic line, excellent as regards model, structure and gaits.

Genetics

His sire Conteur is the son of Contender, winner at the Holsteiner stallions licensing in 1986, in 1987 he won the Performance Test at Adelheidsorf, 1st of 45 at the 100-Day-Test with an overall index of 133,41 and scoring convincing 146,62 points in the jumping category, showing his extraordinary qualities. Contender is producing great winners both in dressage and in jumping, up to 2005 his offspring has won € 2.130.250 in competitions!! Sire of 21 approved stallions such as Cashman, Condor M, Continue, Captain Paul, Concetto, Contendo I, Co-Pilot, Contenur, Cranac, of 93 registered broodmares and of over 16 mares who are candidates for the States Premium. Conteur, a very talented stallion, born in 1998, is one of his best sons, in 2002 at the Performance Test he achieved an index of 149,25 in the dressage category. Conteur and Contendo are connected on the damline’s side since Ofarim, Conteur’s mother is also Contendro’s second mother.

His mother, Gina H, is the daughter of Graf Grannus, son of the legendary Grannus (1972-1993), excellent breeder who left a lasting mark both in show jumping and in breeding producing numerous winners in CSIO. He operated in the German regions of Oldemburg and Hannover. His offspring has achieved successes all over the world: Grannush, Gaston M, Grand Slam, Governor, Grand Plasir. Grannus himself won in show jumping categories (mt.1,50) ridden by Guido and Ulrich Klatte. At the Performance Test at Adelheidsorf, Graff Granus scored 138,04 points in the jumping category and 121,24 points in the dressage category. In 1999 he was honoured as best stallion of his age-group for the amounts won by his sons in show jumping. Among his sons stand out Golden Champ, Ginsberg, Glen Fiddich (winner in CSI with Ludger Beerbaum) and Graf Noir. Graf Noir began his sport career in Germany at the age of 5, he came up to all the expectations winning and placing highly in cat. A (1,10 m.) cat. L (1,20) cat. M (1,30/1,35m.) and qualifying for the Hanoverian Championship Finals vith the score of 8,7. Graf Grannus’s mother, Goldmaedel, won in category S (mt.1,50) in show jumping ridden by Haude Luther. Goldmaedel is the daughter of Goldloewe, one of the last sons of the legendary Gothard, and of one of the daughters of the all the time best thoroughbred from Hannover Derr Lowe breeding.

His second dam, H-Athene is the daughter of Argentan I, a successful hanoverian stallion, died in 1996, known as a producer of great champions and winners both in dressage and in show jumping who have won an overall DM 1, 648,638 in sport competitions. Some of them had a distinguished career: Aramis, World Champion and 4th place in the Olympics in Los Angeles, Alcazar, Amadeus, Adeline, Argentina H, Aragonia, Asconia and Arabella, Autogramm, Grand Champion in Steinhagen in 1992, Azzarro international winner ridden by T. Wulschener, Amaretto, Grand Champion with Isabel Wert, A jungle Prince German Champion in 1993. Licensed as stallion in 1982, Argentan I sired 28 approved stallions and more than 50 States Premium broodmares.
