Genetics

His sire Adlantus As is the son of the extraordinary Argentinus whose offspring won and distinguished itself both in jumping and in dressage. Among Argentinus’ sons, who are all winners in show jumping and compete in top- level competitions, stand out Autogramm, Azarro, Albatros 45, Akoforoe, Albarella, Alexa, Argentario, Apache, Arko III, extraordinary jumping horse ridden by Nick Skelton, and Anka, winner of the World Champion finals in 2003 in Las Vegas ridden by Marcus Ehning while Amaretto and Aleppo, both ridden by Isabel Wert and Albano ridden by Heike Kemmer and winner of a team gold medal at the German Championship in 2001, distinguished themselves in dressage. Numerous States Premium broodmares and over 25 approved stallions are a guarantee for this extraordinary stallion.
Adlantus As, who ridden by Lars Nieberg is achieving excellent results in the most important international meetings, is without doubt one of Argentinus’s best sons. At the age of 4 he was the winner of the Hanoverian Jumping Program. He received an astounding score of 126 at the Performance Test at Adelheisddsorf. Thanks to his good athletic ability and his elastic movements, he is one of the best jumping horses in the world. His offspring has an excellent potential both in breeding and in sport. In 2003 Adlantus As is ranked in the “Top ten” of show jumping and he is at the 4th position in the 2003 best stallion list for genetic index, with an index of 147, an accuracy of 78% and with 15 sons who won in sport competitions.
Her dam, Lady Chirone, belongs to a prestigious damline from which descend international champions such as Grundstein I well-known as Eurocommerce Rome.She is the direct daughter of the legendary Landadel, a holsteiner stallion who operated especially in Oldenburg region, the best son of the progenitor Landgraf I. Landadel left a lasting mark in world breeding and in show jumping. In the finals of the World Cup in 2001, he was the only stallion represented by his offspring both in dressage and in show jumping. In the 1999/2000 WBFSH season, Landadel had 14 sons registered in the Jumping rankings and 3 in the Dressage rankings. In the 2002/2003 WBFSH season, Landadel was ranked in the top 50 jumping horses.
The second dam Wiener Lady is the daughter of Wienerwald, stallion who has produced excellent jumping horses such as Wienerwirbel (O. Nagel) and high quality broodmares who have produced, in their turn, numerous winners in CSO.
Her third dam Galaxy is the sister of StPrSt Gotengold, a very prolific broodmare awarded the “States Premium” in Germany and mother of the illustrious Sissi who, in her turn, produced Grundstein I e II. Galaxy is the daughter of the legendary Gothard, considered the true founder and the mainstay of Hanoverian breeding, responsible for the line “G” through his father Goldfisch II. Sire of 34 approved stallions, of 26 registered broodmares and of international jumping horses such as: Goya, Godika, Gonzales, Galipolis, Goldfink, Golden Gate (ridden by Becker), Graf Sieno and Graf 2. Gotthard’s sons are extraordinary jumpers.

In 2004 Altanus won the Jumping Foals Inspection in Sudweyehe (Bremen).
